Hi guys, In this video I explain what Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering is by showing you some in game screenshots and video clips. The games used include Fallout New Vegas, Battlefield 4 & Skyrim. Enjoy guys!

like i prefer antialiasing off cause it makes game pixelated more and it looks more like a game than all max on then it looks like a blurry movie :
Would disabling it give you performance improvements?
activating those is fastest way to destroy a gpu🤣
Love this vid just because he used new vegas and thats exactly what i wanted to enhance
I still don't understand anisotropic filtering. How does it make the textures that are farther away better? Like, why do they become blurry without it?
Simple and easy explanation. Thank you
This explains to gamers "What does the Anisotropic Filtering setting do" but it in no way whatsoever explains "What is Anisotropic Filtering"

Is it worth turning Af 16x on? Or does it decrease performance to much?
I try af 16x, it did not decreases framerate instead it increases frames
What's the meaning of this?!?!
so thats why my garrys mod looks weird when having AF to the max but why does it though? i have garrys mod on 4x AA and 16x AF how do i make it better is it normal or bad?
thanks bbro
thanks a lot on this video mate it helped me a lot.
so aa= more grass i get it thanks :p
edit im late 🙂
I wonder what type of AA is applied to desktop text and how well that works in games.
Higher resolution / upscale factor reduce the need for AF. AF apparently hits VRAM and CPU or GPU cycles. I'd play with it every time I adjust resolution or scaling to see where the limit is before anything better is negligible.
You offered a completely incorrect description of anti – aliasing and anisotropy. I guess you just went and threw in your personal assumptions, and every other idiot took you seriously, but this is ridiculous.
Well but da antialiasing make lag some games
this helped a lot thanks
AA makes everything look mushy xD
i see so antialiasing AA – reduce jagged and anisotropic filtering AF – reduce blur
Thanks.. really clear explanation

Good video to see the differences and explaining them!
